The busy travel season lies just ahead as we get closer to summer, and the Federal Government has come out with new rules for airlines to help protect passengers.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the discovery of an unknown substance found in a coffee pot on the campus of Maine Maritime Academy last week.

Barbara Adler, a resident of Sonogee Rehabilitation and Living Center in Bar Harbor, celebrated her 100th birthday on April 19.
