Friends of Acadia board member Bill Zoellick and his wife, Pauline Angione, both members of the George B. Dorr Society, celebrate the end of the season with other society members at a recent Cruising Acadia event aboard the Starfish Enterprise.

On Wednesday, Sept. 8, volunteers and supporters of Hospice of Hancock County gathered to celebrate the organization’s 30 years of serving the local community with free, non-medical hospice support.

The plan to remove trees along Norway Drive will go forward, but only after Bar Harbor’s public works director has a chance to review which ones will be cut and which will be left intact.
