We hardly get past Labor Day when, once again, we spot the yellow school buses weaving through town.

By JONATHAN THOMAS There may be two cell towers under construction in Brooksville before the town votes on whether to impose a moratorium on such construction.

The Bar Harbor Times will be monitoring Hurricane Earl over the next few days, and as a community service, will post storm-related event cancellations, postponements and other information the community needs to know.

Bar Harbor officials have been busy the past few days preparing for Hurricane Earl, which is expected to hit the area late Friday night.
