DIVE

On Sunday, September 11 at 2:00 pm, Reel Pizza Cinerama, located at 33 Kennebec Place in Bar Harbor, will offer a free screening of “DIVE!,” which follows filmmaker Jeremy Seifert and friends as they dumpster dive in the back alleys and gated garbage receptacles of Los Angeles' supermarkets, salvaging thousands of dollars-worth of good, edible food. Inspired by a curiosity about the careless habit of sending food straight to landfills, the multi award-winning documentary “DIVE!” is equal parts entertainment, guerilla journalism and call to action.
