At town meeting, voters overrule councilors on Northeast Creek study

In a rebuke to the Town Council, Bar Harbor voters at Tuesday night’s open town meeting voted to fund a $30,000 Northeast Creek Watershed model with money from the town’s cruise ship fund, siding with the Warrant Committee in what has become a controversial debate over the proper use of cruise ship fees.
