In an unsuccessful effort at a Tuesday June 21 meeting, newly elected councilors Bob Garland and Christopher Walsh voted to appoint councilor Jane Disney to the town’s Cruise Ship Committee – a move that would have unseated Paul Paradis, the committee’s current chairman.
