Robert Gomez, one of the state's premier distance runners and Waldoboro native, obviously loves to come home on the run. That was the case again on Saturday morning, June 17 as Gomez returned home to obliterate the Waldoboro Day 5-Kilometer Road Race record and stash a cool $100 cash in his pocket for his troubles.
