Mount Desert Island Hospital will host a series of public flu shot clinics beginning in mid-October. The clinics will take place through Nov. 8 at locations across the island. The cost is $25, but Medicare, Medicaid, and some private insurance plans are accepted. The schedule of clinics follows.
