Texas Poets Laureate Karla K. Morton and Alan Birkelbach are visiting more than 50 of country’s National Parks as part of their “Words of Preservation: A Poets Laureate National Parks Tour,” which is a celebration of the Park Service’s centennial. Join them at the Jesup Memorial Library on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. as they visit Acadia National Park. They will be reading selections of poetry and talking about their tour.
