Bob Pyle is retiring after 40-plus years of service as librarian and director of the Northeast Harbor Library.
The library’s trustees are throwing a retirement party for Pyle on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. The library’s new director, Brook Minner, will also be on hand to greet people.
