Jennifer L. Lozano of Bar Harbor was arrested Nov. 29 after allegedly defrauding a bank of more than $52,000 in a check fraud scheme.

According to Bar Harbor police, Lozano, 41, was arrested on a charge of Theft by Deception, a class B crime, after the bank filed a complaint against her on Nov. 14, alleging that she had defrauded them of $52,099.28.
