The Bar Harbor Town Council Dec. 6 reviewed a revised draft of a proposed ordinance that would create a set of standards for rooming houses. The revisions to the proposed amendment — most of which placed zoning restrictions on rooming houses — caused concern among some council members that the focus of the document was drifting away from the safety concerns that originally prompted the proposed amendment.
