A local woman and two Surry residents are in jail on charges of operating a meth lab at a house on Gilbert Farm Road, according to police. Police with the Bar Harbor Police Department and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency took Joy Levesque, 40, into custody at her home Wednesday afternoon after spending about a week investigating tips about methamphetamine being manufactured at the home.
