Site work is set to begin this month to make way for construction of Mount Desert Island Hospital’s new Women’s Health Center. The 3,700-square-foot facility will be constructed on the footprint of the unfinished structure adjacent to the Cadillac Mountain Medical Building at 322 Main St. in Bar Harbor, according to MDI Hospital Public Affairs Officer Bill Swain in a press release.
