The streets of Bar Harbor may once again hear the sounds of horse and buggy, as the Town Council approved crafting an amendment to the town ordinance to allow horse drawn carriages to carry passengers for hire. The owner of Wild Iris Farm, Sandi Read, and son/stable manager Marc Jaffrey, requested the amendment, which the heard on Feb. 14.
