The Bar Harbor Parks and Recreation committee heard from Conservation Commission chairwoman Jill Weber March 5 regarding the commission’s responsibility under the town’s comprehensive plan. The commission is tasked with creating an Open Spaces plan and the lack of a town planner has put the group in a quandary, said Weber, and there is no funding allocated to bring in qualified help for the project.
