The Criterion Theatre is Hancock County‘s sole venue and lone early premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 17 at 7 p.m. In honor of the cinematic sagas, the theater is preparing for a multi-day celebration of Star Wars events as it marches towards the official premiere December 18 at 7 p.m. when a costume parade and celebration will premiere the movie’s showing. “The Criterion Theatre is beyond excited to work within the community to celebrate a new era of cinematic Star Wars here in Bar Harbor this December,” said Steven Boucher, board member and the event’s committee chairman.
