A Bar Harbor man was injured early Thursday morning when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel on Route 1A, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. Stephen Hopkins, 35, was traveling to Bangor when he apparently dozed off around 5:30 a.m. and lost control of his Ford Explorer, Deputy Dana Austin said.
