Carissa Tinker , daughter of Larry Tinker, of Mt. Desert, and Marie Hooper, of Bar Harbor, is spending the fall 2010 semester studying abroad in Quito, Ecuador, through a program run by Saint Michael’s College, Burlington, Vermont.
