Stop by the Jesup Memorial Library on Friday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. for a fun night of verse and comradery. It is the first Verse Unleashed! Poetry Slam of 2016. This is an open mic night where poets are invited to share their work in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Unlike traditional poetry slams, which are set up as competitions, at the Jesup it’s all about having a good time.
