Women’s Film Series: Gwich’in Women Speak & Lemon Tree – 03/29/2016 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Beginning in Women’s History Month the YWCA Mount Desert Island will host a series of films by and about women.  Our first show is on March 29 at 5:30PM at 36 Mt. Desert St., Bar Harbor.  It begins with a 10 minute short, Gwich’in Women Speak: The Sacred Place Where Life Begins, directed & produced by Miho Aida.  Followed by the feature film, Lemon Tree, by Eran Riklis.  All are welcome and admittance is free.  Refreshments will be on sale to benefit the YWCA and its programs.  For more information contact Anna Carr, 288-5008 or anna@ywcamdi.org
