Bowdoin College vice president leaving for Jackson Lab post

Bowdoin College Vice President and Treasurer S. Catherine “Katy” Longley, who served during a time of campus expansion during the past 14 years, will leave Bowdoin this summer to become vice president and chief financial officer at The Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor. “In my view, Jackson Labs could not have picked a better person for this pivotal role,” Rose wrote, describing Longley, a 1976 graduate of Bowdoin as “a gifted leader who has an uncommon dedication to her position and to her alma mater.”
