A longtime local tennis instructor and a boat company are teaming up to raise funds for an indoor tennis facility they hope to construct on Mount Desert Island. The goal is to construct a four-court facility in the Bar Harbor village of Town Hill, according to people familiar with the concept, which also is expected to include practice rooms for private music lessons.
