Abbe Museum to Host Inaugural Backyard Bash

The Abbe Museum will host its inaugural Backyard Bash on September 10, 2016, from 3-9 pm at its downtown Bar Harbor location at 26 Mount Desert St. Within the confines of the Museum's backyard, dozens of organizations and artists are coming together to celebrate and showcase creative work and people, and how creative placemaking supports Wabanaki artists and the Bar Harbor community. “We are delighted to welcome Abbe friends and neighbors, new and dear, to this exciting inaugural celebration designed to engage and entertain while benefiting the Abbe's programs, exhibits, and operations,” said Abbe Museum President and CEO Cinnamon Catlin-Legutko.
