Applicants, donors sought for program that awards grants to seniors in need

When Peter Garland, 66, of Robbinston was diagnosed with throat cancer in October 2015, he had to have several teeth pulled out. But the cost for the extractions and replacement dentures was more than $1,500, and Garland didn't know how he would pay for them.
