As a part of the Southwest Harbor Public Library’s Women’s History Month “Creating Connections” Celebrations, on Tuesday, March 28, 5:30-7:00, author Eleanor Phillips Brackbill will talk about her book The Queen of Heartbreak Trail: The Life and Times of Harriet Smith Pullen, Pioneering, an account of her Klondike Gold Rush pioneer great-grandmother who became a successful entrepreneur, single-handedly hauling prospectors’ provisions into the Yukon where gold beckoned.
