A two-vehicle accident on Route 102 sent a man to the hospital with broken bones and lacerations Nov. 2.

According to Mount Desert police logs, the Wednesday afternoon collision occurred as a 2002 Ford Taurus, driven by Emile J. Bechard, 78, of Bar Harbor, attempted to enter the northbound travel lane of Route 102, in front of the Somesville One Stop.
