Walking in on art teacher Betty Allen’s painting class on a recent morning, a visitor found a genial gathering and an environment that was rich with Allen’s many creative pursuits.
Allen and two of her students, Anne and Joe Paradise, were painting watercolors of the Duck Island Lighthouse at Allen’s spacious home studio in Somesville.
