The latest book in Brian Lies’ bats series is “Bats at the Ballgame.” Brian has several book signings coming up in Maine.
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection said it was unable to prove whether a cruise ship discharged wastewater while docked in Bar Harbor last month, but did say that tests show waste was in the water at that time, according to local media reports.
The band Po’Girl performs at Lompoc Cafe in Bar Harbor on Aug. 20 at 9:30 p.m. The band includes Maine native Ben Sidelinger.
