Gov. Paul LePage has nominated Patrick Keliher to serve as commissioner of the state Department of Marine Resources.
Keliher, of South Gardiner, has been serving as the DMR’s acting commissioner since last July. He had previously served as deputy commissioner and director of the Bureau of Sea Run Fisheries and Habitat within the DMR since 2007.
