With Maine ranked first for food insecurity in New England and 12th in the nation, the Maine Credit Union League and Cross Roads Ministries in Old Town have teamed up once again for the 14th Annual End Hunger Walking Tour to show solidarity and support for those suffering from hunger. The Walking Tour serves as a fundraiser and a representation of a problem worsened in rural areas, which lack adequate transportation for those otherwise forced to walk long distances for food.
