Mount Desert Island High School specifically, and the island in general, were well represented among the field and top finishers during the Brewer Turkey Trot 3-Miler Nov. 20.
There were 559 overall participants in the 30th annual event, including many island residents and MDI High School students and faculty. There also were 96 children overall who participated in the one-mile event.
