At the November meeting of the Mount Desert Island League of Towns, representatives from Lamoine, Cranberry Isles and Swans Island said their communities would be interested in becoming part of a joint study of optimal cellphone tower siting.
In October, the league learned that a cellphone service provider, AT&T, had proposed to do the study on behalf of member towns and Acadia National Park.
