Motorcycle crash claims man’s life in Acadia

An unidentified man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into trees off Cadillac Mountain Road on Sunday after passing several cars at a high rate of speed, officials said Monday. Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist had crossed the road's center line and passed several cars before returning to the downhill lane and losing control of his vehicle at a curve in the road just above the Bar Harbor overlook at about 4:30 p.m., officials said.
