In January 1992, during a storm in the North Pacific Ocean, a container ship on its way to the United States from China lost 12 containers overboard – one of the containers broke open and released 28,800 4-inch-long bath toys – 7,200 yellow ducks, 7,200 green frogs, 7,200 red beavers and 7,200 blue turtles.
