A commercial box truck owned by a Maine insulation company and a black sedan collided head-on in the accident, which occurred along a section of Route 3 known as “The Bluffs,” which overlook Frenchman Bay. Bar Harbor Police Chief James Willis confirmed at the accident scene that a man in the sedan died in the accident but he declined to release further details.
