The Tremont Board of Selectmen has decided to ask voters to authorize construction of an addition onto the public works garage.
At its Feb. 21 meeting, the board learned from Town Manager Millard Billings that the town’s Comprehensive Plan cites the garage — located adjacent to the town office — as having “inadequate space to store the current number of vehicles and other equipment.”
