Rain, wind affecting fall show as foliage nears peak

Fall foliage is gradually reaching its peak throughout the state and is currently at 30 to 50 percent of its peak from Kittery to Kennebunkport, according to an Oct. 2 update of the Fall Foliage Report from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
