A preliminary 2012-2013 municipal budget recently approved by the Southwest Harbor Board of Selectmen shows a 2.2 percent decrease in town expenditures from the prior year’s figures. Budgets for the Pemetic School and the town contribution to Mount Desert Island High School increased slightly.
