Septic System Work Will Close Two Areas Of Acadia National Park For The Season

The Sieur de Monts Nature Center, which debuted new climate science exhibits this year, will close for the season Tuesday/NPS, Kristi Rugg . Two areas of Mount Desert Island in Maine – Seawall Campground and some visitor facilities at Sieur de Monts – will be closed for the season starting Tuesday as crews work to improve the septic systems that serve those areas.
