Thirty art students across Hancock County – from Deer Isle-Stonington High to Sumner Memorial High to Mount Desert Island HighA – are lending their creative energies to transform simple, modest wooden birdhouses into objects d’art in order to raise funds for Hancock County Habitat’s Home for the Gillespie family.
