Some intrepid sailors enjoyed a nice afternoon on the water with the final race hosted by the Mount Desert Island Community Sailing Center.
The third annual Halloween Race was held on Saturday, Oct. 29, with seven sailors racing Bullseyes at the entrance to Southwest Harbor.
“Yes, the Bullseye bottoms are slimy and hairy but its Halloween,” said the center’s director, Glenn Squires.
