On Sunday, July 17 at 2:00 pm, Reel Pizza Cinerama, located at 33 Kennebec Place in Bar Harbor, will offer a free screening of “The Messenger,” a documentary by Su Rynard that investigates the causes of songbird mass depletion and the people who are working to change it. “The Messenger” takes viewers on a visually stunning journey revealing how the problems facing birds also pose daunting implications for our planet and ourselves.
