AOS #91-Mount Desert Island School System Superintendent Rob Liebow was present at the Nov. 7 meeting of the Mount Desert Board of selectmen to present a proposal to create a collective, district-wide special education reserve fund. If created, Liebow said the fund would be available to any town within the school system that needed to fund an out-of-district placement for a special needs student.
