Selectmen at their Feb. 6 meeting discussed possible upgrades to the town’s snowplowing fleet, including disposing of one of the fleet’s older, smaller trucks and buying two new trucks.
The town’s 2003 Ford “is the weakest truck,” said Town Manager Millard Billings. That truck has had several mechanical issues that include the transmission overheating and damage to the frame due to salt-contamination, he said.
