The Tremont Consolidated and Pemetic Elementary school boards have worked out a non-binding referendum question designed to solicit input from voters in the two communities about the possibility of consolidating their schools.
The boards held their latest joint meeting on Jan. 19 specifically to draft the question, said Mount Desert Island Regional School System Superintendent Rob Liebow.
