The Portland Lighthead and light keeper's house is on Cape Elizabeth, a rocky peninsula in the Casco Bay, just a few miles out of Portland. A server took a break from shucking oysters and shaking martinis to deliver my supper: a hat-sized bowl of plump, steaming mussels.
